Learning and understanding vocabulary that you read and use is essential. You will encounter words that you don't know, both in reading passages, as well as in questions on tests or even forms you fill out throughout your life. One skill that we can practice that will help you increase your vocabulary is looking at the ACT's list of commonly confused words. To do that, we will be using a program called Vocabulary.com

- Then, begin working on the "ACT Commonly Confused List 1" list. You will need to master this list by the class period I see you after the coming weekend. (I don't think I'm being too mean here. My TA did this in 20-25 minutes.)
- Once you have gotten 100%, you are finished! You don't have to do another list, but they will then take you to "The Challenge," which another excellent practice. I will give you further lists in the future.
